Description
The word ‘Panchkuva’ connotes five wells. The folk traditions narrate the story of five wells in the vicinity of this Darwaja; the Darwaja came to be known as Panchkuva Darwaja.
Built by Britishers, this was the last gate to be built in Ahmedabad. A remnant of British Architecture, one can witness the influence of colonial architecture on the local architectural form.
