Description
The Shaking Minarets, or Jhulta Minar as it is colloquially addressed, is one of the mysterious architectural wonders of this era. The shaking of one minaret results in the other minaret vibrating after a few seconds. The only surviving element of the Siddhi Bashir Mosque, the Jhulta Minar, with its arched Gateway, attracts architects, archaeologists and tourists from around the world. This Gothic Muslim – Rajputana style 500-year-old structure is located in the Sarkar Bazaar of Ahmedabad.
